We have a cutting-edge on-site laboratory with the latest analysing machinery for automotive catalytic converters including XRF and ICP analysers.
For our regular clients we offer a bespoke online catalytic converter valuation database. Get your cats processed and get the precise precious metals value of all your cats, then choose to either take your powder back or sell it to us with no process charges. This involves a simple 3 step process:
We cut the catalytic converter to expose the honeycomb ceramic bricks which contain the precious metals such as Platinum, Palladium and Rhodium. We also collect any dust that is extracted during the cutting process.
The honeycomb bricks are then crushed into powder and the collected dust is also added to the compound.
The crushed powder is then sent to our on-site laboratory for analysis. This process gives you the exact amounts of precious metals that are contained in the powder. We can then give you the best price according to the percentage of precious metals within the powder.
